Seattle Weekend

Since my company sells software to the healthcare industry, and since I am the chief architect and head of product, I was obliged to spend my weekend at a conference for nurse executives. Luckily, it was held in Seattle this year, which is only 3 hours drive from where we live, so Sally, Lara and Ewan went with me. While I was in the conference they bummed around downtown Seattle, including high tea at the Fairmont and lots of shopping. Our room was in the Westin, with a magnificent view from the 46th floor of north Seattle, Puget Sound, the Olympic range and even a hazy glimpse of Mt. Baker. The weather cooperated and saturday was near perfect.
