Greenland

The flight home from Frankfurt was uneventful--apart from the sobbings of children very sad to leave their cousins behind--and very lengthy. Not long after departure we could see Norway from the windows. The North Sea was cloudy as we passed north of Iceland, but just before arriving over Greenland the clouds disappeared. I snapped several photos out the window as we passed over Greenland's east coast, then it was 40 minutes or an hour of icecap whiteness until we flew over the west coast towards Baffin Island, whereupon the cloud cover returned and that was the end of the view.

This is the portion of the eastern coast we flew over.
