Lara and Ewan found the museum to be delightful, and went through all the exhibits while I was in Dalwhinnie. The museum is organized along a single axis, about a mile in length, in which they display Highland life from various epochs

This schoolhouse was dismantled and reconstructed on this site, and contains all the original items that it would have in 1930s, including a frame containing gum stuck under the desks by schoolchildren.

The scenery about is quite beautiful as well. This is looking towards Cairngorm.

This bus is a replica, built on the model of a bus that once ran from Heathrow to Harrod's. Visitors may hitch a ride from exhibit to exhibit.
