The Cairngorms

As we made ready to leave Glencoe, I took a short walk around and photographed the surroundings one last time.

Here is the Sgorr nam Fiannaidh, with the clachaig gully, and the sign for the inn.

The old part of the inn, dating from the 16th century, where we took breakfast each morning. This building would have been standing at the time of the Glencoe Massacre.

And the newer part of the inn, where our room was located. The door on the left side is where the front desk is located, along with the sign stating 'No Hawkers or Campbells.' Scots do not forget grudges quickly.

As we left Glencoe and Ballachulish behind we stopped for a few minutes due to some road works on the A82 and I snapped this view of Loch Leven with the Pap of Glencoe.

And Sally snapped this pretty little church out the passenger window.
