As we reached the top of the ridge we peered into the next valley, towards Stob Coire Sgreamhach, hidden in the clouds.

We could see another group on the far ridge, where we hoped to arrive soon.

We continued on towards the summit of Stob Coire nan Lochan, enjoying the splendid view back the way we had ascended.

Looking out over the summit of the Aonach Dubh, we could see some mountain sheep.

From the summit of Stob Coire nan Lochan, I got a closer look at the cliffs of insanity, just before they disappeared, poof, into cloud.

Then we began descending down a saddle towards our next summit, Bidean nam Bian.

We made our way carefully over a rock field, composed of reddish stones--rhyolite I think.

The clouds parted for a moment, and I could see the Clachaig Inn far below.
