Oregon Airshow

Its that time of year. We don't need to purchase tickets to the airshow because the parts I care about happen right over my house. Sally, of course, hates all the noise, danger and militaristic hoo-hah. And frankly, I care little for the prop planes that spiral and do loop-de-loops with smoke spewing everywhere. You've seen 'em once, you've seen 'em all. The jets, on the other hand, are what get my blood pumping, and what's better, they zip right over my house. Well, maybe that isn't such a good thing given what happened two years ago. I stepped outside during the evening show and got a good look at this team as they roared about. They do not pack the thrill of F-16s or F-18s, and are not nearly so loud, but they are fun to watch nonetheless.
