To achieve my next goal, I had to cross a boggy area, which I dubbed 'The Dead Marshes'. Ewan liked that. On the edge of the lower area the cairn I stood next to in the earlier photographs can just be seen.

From there it was a short jaunt to the summit.

Someday, when I'm really, really rich, I'll buy Cluny Castle and live there like a laird, wrapping myself in yards of maclean tartan, and all the locals will despise me. Good times! At least I'm not English...
